STC-QST’s diverse embroidery baqcking line encompasses a broad range of weights, from our one-ounce Tear Away’s designed for quick and easy tearing on monograms and back pocket jean applications, to our three-ounce Cut Aways built for unwavering stability on large stitch count jobs such as full-back jacket designs. These domestically-manufactured, premium embroidery backings impart a clean, crisp look. Their wet-laid, random-webbed construction insures a softness of hand that makes agitation and scratchiness from the residual backing left inside the garment a thing of the past.

In addition to stocking our products in full-width piece goods rolls, (we carry both 46” and 60” inch versions in just about every style), STC-QST offers die-cutting to any dimension and slitting to any width in order to accommodate all hoop sizes. It is important to note that we do not contract our processing to outside cutting services, but rather, complete all orders in-house.

Our line also features “Wash Away” backings and toppings as well as “No Show” mesh to eliminate shadowing on white garments, especially important in golf apparel. We offer stitch-reinforced products such as “All Stitch” and a number of heavy-weight Tear Away items specifically designed for cap backing applications.

In addition to our premium grade selections, STC-QST carries a range of “economy fighter” products designed to sew out like their premium grade counterparts, but at prices geared to save money in either full-width, slit-width or die-cut versions.
