
A graduate of the Entrepreneur Program at the University of Southern California and a 3rd generation Apparel Industry Expert with expertise in garment construction, production, global sourcing and finance. I have served the industry as President of the Textile Association of Los Angeles, a board member of the California Fashion Association and I am a frequent guest lecturer at Otis Design School, FIDM, and the University of Southern California.

BRIAN WEITMAN
I graduated the University of Kansas in May of 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. After graduation I traveled abroad for a short time, then joined STC-QST family in July of 2008. My main focus is to provide my customers with product solutions that fit their unique needs.

MICHAEL GILLMAN
With over 29 years of interlining sales in Los Angeles, my area of expertise lies in non-woven stabilizer products used by embroiderers & screen printers for reinforcement & design registration. I also oversee the sale & promotion of “Pinky’s,” our nationally-known brand of bleached cotton material that STC-QST supplies to the beauty trade as a depilatory item. I offer a vast wealth of experience & knowledge in the recommendation of fusible and sew-in interlinings, and can provide assistance to manufacturers who are interested in the various qualities of pocketing that my company offers.

TONY SPAGONE
I was born and raised in Los Angeles. I received my B.A. and M.A. from Cal State Northridge. After working for various garment companies as a production manager and purchasing agent, I joined the STC family in the late eighties. Shoulder pads were huge then and I learned quickly. My strengths are in finding the best interlining for a given application, shoulder pads, bra cups, and printed and unprinted pocket lining.

LANA BRYSON
My passion for sewing since age 10 and my desire to create, led me to the garment industry. After college, I attended FIDM Los Angeles and became a patternmaker and designer. After 6 years in the garment manufacturing segment, I then wanted to explore a different side. I decided to sell products to those manufactures. I love to help customers solve their most difficult construction problems, and after over 35 years in the garment industry I believe I can help solve almost any garment construction issue.

MARCIA NIELSEN
I have over 25 years of experience in the domestic and global textile Industry. Selling and purchasing woven and non-woven fabrics to the hospitality, apparel, and home furnishing markets worldwide, with extensive knowledge of woven and non-woven fabric. I specializing in dyed fabric, printed fabrics, interlinings, fusible, waistbands and elastics. Strengths in new product development, problem solving and sourcing.

KIRK JOHNSON
I received my Textile Engineering Degree from Philadelphia University and have over 40 years of experience in the Textile/Apparel Industry. I specialize in Sales, Management, Operations and Product Development.

JEFF WALDMAN
39 + years of working “behind the seams”! I specialize in selling the inner components parts for a superb foundation to your garments. My focus is partnering with you in directing your nomination of trims for your global consistency.

BETSY HODGE
I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a minor in Economics. After college I went to work for Levi Strauss which eventually brought me to California. I have over 20 years of experience in the Apparel Industry and specialize in Sales, Sales Management, Planning and Problem Solving.

PAUL MINESTRELLA
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have over 30 years experience working in customer service & 7 years in the Garment industry. While working for 7 For All Mankind as an executive assistant / design coordinator I realized my love for fashion, and the creativity it takes to bring the designs to life. I love what I do, and I believe to give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money: sincerity and integrity.
